My first track to kickstart things is a piece for cello, piano and drums, a prelude in C.

I found one of my tracks being illegally downloaded via a site today and am considering how to protect my portfolio before I upload the new one. Even PRS is unable to track illegal streaming sites. Someone took the trouble to download my work and upload it to a site via a file-sharing system. I tried to send a notice to cease and desist but I suspect there is a rabbit hole. The site kept flashing up pictures of sexy women who wanted a date.

I suppose a jingle running through a podcast would work. There doesn't seem any point in releasing the tracks as singles if they are just going to be stolen.

This week's composition will be just as alternative as the prelude which was based on only C notes. I did add a bit of colour gliding down the cello between Cs as I fused the classical with the modern and the acoustic with the digital.
