Recording on a theme of Élégie (Fauré)

I woke late after a bad night because today is nerve-racking.

Closing a film, finishing the score and tweaking the visuals, means judgment day is near. The baby is let out of the pram. It is hard to let go.

I am in the recording studio and there is a mix of excitement and trepidation as I tune up the harp and the cello.

It may be an all-nighter.
